How is this any different than how news always focuses on individual crimes, which gives the general public the perception that crime is rising even in years when it's falling?

It's not ideological, it's that fear sells.

The unvaccinated will be devastated by delta. Look at India. They make their choice and take their chances. They'll find out they're not invincible. Oh well.

But I'm able to draw logical conclusions from limited data, unlike you. I believe the vaccine is decreasing in effectiveness to prevent illness. I am making the necessary adjustments to prepare for the next wave. And I don't care whether you do or not. But others here with health conditions should take care and not be complacent.

Minor quibble, but I'd probably be more comfortable with this statement from you: I'm using inductive logic to draw (what I believe to be) accurate conclusions from limited data.

You should disconnect from your phone as you don't seem to realize how dumb you sound.

new VAERS covid numbers out today

there's a lot of smart people here, so i ask again - if these numbers are all unrelated bullsh*t and are being used by the unvaccinated to justify their vaccine hesitancy, then why don't they take the site down?

Is the question here, "Why isn't the government taking more actions that reinforce my conspiratorial delusions?"

BPS, if the government ever starts forcing people to get vaccinated, you can hide out in my basement.

157 million people are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in the U.S.

Even if you presume every one of those near 11,000 deaths was related to the vaccines, that would mean a death rate of 0.007%. Which is way, way lower than the actual death rate from getting COVID.

And of course, as I said, VAERS data isn't double checked. People are reporting deaths. Some could be lying, some could be connecting two unrelated events - because as I said, with that many people getting shots, some are bound to die of some unrelated thing within a few weeks of getting stuck.
