Sid is back on the ice, ahead of schedule, because of course he is.

Roster is set, here is to hoping Drew O'Connor can translate preseason success into regular season success. I am doubtful but would love to be wrong. I am also curious how Boyle will do, he would have been a great addition a few years ago but does he have anything left in the tank? For me though the person that I am looking at is Jason Zucker. He was playing great with Sid before the league shutdown and because of various injuries has been buried ever since. If he can return to a 25-35 goal score, that will mean so much.

Pens lit it up, and Jarry only let in 2. Successful night.

I'll have 81 more of those, Alex.

I'll ignore Tampa looked like ****. Remember how bad the Pens looked to start in 2017-18? Though what the heck was with them pulling the goalie down 3 goals, twice?

Tampa isn’t the same team due to the salary cap.

Desperation.

Ehh, they will figure it out I am sure. Maybe they can have their best player get "injured" again, bring back some players with salary only for that "injured" player to be ready for the playoffs.

Seriously, they played by the rules but damn do those rules suck. I hope the league addresses what Tampa did with Kucherov next time there is collective bargaining. It was within the rules but a rat move nonetheless.

If the Pens did it there would be no complaints. It would be called smart.

If you are suggesting the Pens sit Malkin all regular season, bring in 8 million dollars worth of talent and then have Geno cured by the start of the post season, I am in.

I get they played by the rules, the rules are just stupid IMO.

Yet you just said you’d do it with Geno.

Pens had/have no chance at a Cup, and $8m isn’t going to change it.
