^^ Yup don't move to SF, especially if you aren't even willing to understand what is going on with this surge in water bottles popularity.
Those of you that mock this ban, I ask:
Is it worth polluting the Pacific Ocean from SF to Hawaii so that you can drink bottled water?
Should our government appropriate millions of tax dollars to the clean up of these water bottles?
So, what do you do if you're thirsty and not at home and want water? Knock on someone's door and ask for a drink? Come on now, instead of cracking down on polluters, it's just easier to ban it? Nut job liberals and their power hungry control on everything.

Drinking fountain, plan better by bringing your own reusable water bottle. I carry this one:
Irresponsible Choices that hurt the environment and waste tax dollars.
Yeah, whatever. Ban everything you don't like. The environment is fine. It will be around for a long, long time. Long after you and your kitchen sink are gone.
Authoritarians like to control society, refusing to accept social freedoms.
Liberals like to control natural resources. Plastic bottles are nothing but a nuisance. I agree with this ban. It is city, the government and ultimately the planet that must pay a price for it.
So tell me. . ..are all conservatives in favor of a "throw away" culture? A culture in which mountains of trash dominate the landscapes and the seas? If you are, just please step up and say so. . . .you've certainly got plenty of company here on city data forum!
