The only things I talked about in my post were US military flying flags and your disgust at Mexican-Americans yet understanding and appreciation of European-Americans and their flags.
What else could you have been talking about in your bolded words?
When did I show "disgust" at Mexican-Americans? LOL
Once again, you are putting words into my mouth because who said anything specifically about Mexican-Americans? Just because you are from Mexico and living here doesn't make you an "American" (American in the since of the popular term used to describe people of US citizenship).
I really don't have anything else to say about this because it is going back and forth.
I am well traveled. I myself would never consider flying a US flag while visiting another nation. I am a patriot, a vet, and I love our flag. I should because like many vets I have bled for my flag.
Why some folks are so in love with where their great grand parents came from is beyond me, nor do I care. They are free to feel the way they feel.
As for any foreigner flying a flag above ours? That is not acceptable to me. I do chose to ignore it though. Tacky people abound. Take those people who decorate their yards like a miniature golf course for example.
Or every election season turn their yards into a campaign commercial. Tacky at its worst. But this is the USA and they are free to do this, just as I am free to point and laugh at them.

I totally agree, even though if you ever visit Israel during the 4th of July, you'll see many many US flags, so you'll be welcome to raise yours.
I think this is not OK to raise any flag over the US flag, or to have another flag without the US flag in your yard. Even when celebrating Irish, Italian, or Cuban holiday you never raise just a foreign flag. I see it as rude, and disrespectful.
