I totally agree on all scores and especially about women being better off today, and I'll add that I think men are too.

You have tried starting similar threads on the relationship forum before, and people did not take you seriously. Sadly, some seem to actually be giving credence to your ridiculous hypothesis on this forum. What about Snow White? Did that tell all women that a handsome prince would rescue them? Don't be ridiculous. Women are too smart to believe that life emulates art. Also, what about men looking at airbrushed models and porn stars and expecting real women to be that perfect looking? Are men that easily duped? This is a waste of time just like your other threads have been.

I would have to say S&tC. I doubt most (Western) women would consider Pretty Women to be even remotely like real life LoL...

everytime I see a thread by the OP I think of the song "People are strange'" by The Doors.

"women seem wicked, when you're unwanted ...."
Another personal attack. Why can't an argument be made rather than an insult?

Pappy&me if there were a poll in this forum-- "How many american girls/ women dream of a life just like pappy's life?", what do you suppose the polls would reflect?

My family's collective aspirations for their children are something you don't actually care to ask about, so why make things up?

Those little " sad sack poetesses " raised the men who created the greatest nation on earth . it stayed that way until the feminist boot brigade came out and took over . Gotta hand it to them though, they tore down in less than 100 yr.s what it took men 200 to build .

What has a woman ever created or discovered beter than a child ? Men are the ones who gave us technology, industry and invention, not women .
Ouch!

But I don't anyone can seriously dispute the historical accuracy of this. Wasn't it Camille Paglia who stated that if women ruled things, we would still be living in mud huts lmao...

Behind every great man...etc. Women had a hand in many things, just not the position to get any credit for it.

Default What caused more harm to men, and thus society?

The Hangover or Jackass?

Both basically saying you can be an Moderator cut: language and yet still have a great time, creating very unrealistic expectations in those who believe in that stuff, given I see men much more likely to emulate what they see in the media.

Neither have any real influence on women, threrefore no influence on society. Both are emulating a very, very, miniscule segment of society and in an exaggerated way in order to entertain.

I know of no woman who upon viewing Sex and the City or Pretty Woman who set her sights on becoming like these fictional characters. Most of us in the real world can differentiate between fact and fantasy.

Feminism has been one of the single most destructive forces in American history.

I'm not talking about equal right which all people deserve. I'm talking about the militant Feminism that pressures women to act in a manner that is inconstant with their nature and their best interest.

What has resulted is a breakdown in family values and depression among women that is off of the charts. Unfortunately, too many women figure out way too late that feminism has robbed them of everything that is important to their true nature and everything that makes them women.

None of us are smarter or more wise than all those that came before us. To think we are and engage in social engineering is about the most foolish thing we as humans can do.

The wise man is one who is aware of how little he knows.
