Correction: as one astute poster pointed out, I should have included a fifth option:

5) a shrewd businessman exploiting a niche market in American gullibility.

I'll try to be more thorough next time. My apologies.
I'd go for option #5. He's just making money. He even admitted in an interview he says what sells, not what he believes.

He stated that he is a entertainer. Some people forget that and believe his every word.

What political office is he running for?
I missed it.

The guy doesn't matter, yet your going to put him up on a pedestal and make him a GOD to be feared.

In a fading society albeit inviting wrath, falling from God, historyless, philosphically genetically altered, evil and
even pagan (yo winter solstice!) its refreshing to have a thread of hope via the likes of Glenn Beck into an undeserving wacky America, but I looked in the mirror only to find I'm goofey, a sinner, and wacky. Glenn brings a screwed up secular society agits for the never believer, Christians can't watch Glenn because he still might be one of those.......Mormons (oh my! )

Note to all: If you don't like Beck then don't watch him. It's a simple solution to a simple problem.
Yes, ignoring things makes them go away.

You didn't have a "Who is glen beck" choice, so I couldn't vote.

he tells his followers what they want to hear, who knows he even believes half the stuff he says.
