I'll be curious to see what they come up with--everything I've read said he seemed to be motivated by her healthcare vote, and he was a huge Sarah Palin fan.
Going to need to see evidence here please. Cite specifically where he mentions Palin and the healthcare vote.
There is no evidence he is right wing. Thanks for playing.
The term Nazi derives from the first two syllables of Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (National SOCIALIST German Workers' Party, NSDAP). I emphasize socialist.
P.S. Can you blame people for thinking of Palin, considering the history there? I didn't even know all of this, so I didn't speculate anything until reading this thread... when I first heard the story, I'd never heard of this woman, nor did I know which side she represented. My only thought was "OMG, how horrible!" Then I read about all the other stuff, and it was hard not to see the irony in everything. Still doesn't mean I blame Palin, but if nothing else this should be a warning to heed.
Same here. I didn't know if she was a Rep or Dem and it didn't matter because people were killed.
We still don't know if it was political but some are making assumptions. If it makes you feel better go ahead.
I for one will wait to see what the people in charge will find out. As of right now he just seems to be very mentally unstable and they do things for any kind of reason. JMO.
I like the way people call out Beck, Limbaugh etc.... and give specific examples. Then they just throw in that sometimes liberals are bad actors also. But never go into specifics. Trying to make themselves look like they aren't partisan. LOLs.
LOL all you want. I can't give you specifics from MSNBC since I don't watch it, but maybe you can.
I have not seen that, but I don't watch MSNBC a lot. I did, however, see Olbermann blast all who contribute to the wild rhetoric inflaming, including himself. He is the only one on TV that I have heard own up to some blame. Please let me know if anyone else has done so, or are they all insulating themselves from thinking they could have contributed?
Couldn't agree more. I have long said that what Palin and the "Becks" have said was irresponsible, but that doesn't mean they were justifying these kinds of acts, or promoting them.
I do hope that this will serve to make public officials and citizens think twice about what they say though. From Democrats shooting house bills, to "don't retreat, reload", both sides have made stupid statements and acts. Lets just not give anyone anymore of an excuse.
Absolutely correct. These metaphors also detract from intelligent speech. These cutsey and slogan sounding, bumper sticker ways of appealing to the general public are an insult to intelligent people. We have come to expect so little from our reperesentatives.

I actually find it helpful to READ A BOOK AND UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT before I make major points on history. Although their name had socialist in it, the Nazi's were violently antiliberal.
