This is dead on correct.

His intentions was to divide and destroy America and so far he has done what he sat out to do.

That will all change soon.

He cannot even handle a local police problem so how in the world did anyone expect him to handle any large issue facing him?

Real leaders shine in moments like this, Obama, well, we know the answer.

Yes. Next obvious question?

Well, they couldn't make Health Care Reform his "Waterloo", so they're desperately trying to find the next best thing. Expect more of the same over the next 2 years.

America as already divided well before he was even a politician. The major divisions in this country get initially delineated in the 1960's and NEVER really got resolved.

I would say it really goes back to the 1770s.

I have a few ax's to grind over a few of Obama's positions, but in this case, I'm actually pleased to see this more hands off approach and preparations being made to deal with whatever results from this revolution of sorts. To point out the contrary position on this, see the video posted below.

Well it is pretty evident how Fox news is portraying these events and whether a person is a Fox viewer or not, it only takes an IQ approaching body temp to see how incredibly fear based their coverage is.

Israel 'Terrified' about events unfolding in Egypt
Israel 'Terrified' About Egypt Crisis (http://news.yahoo.com/video/world-15749633/24025140 - broken link)

Even on the same page of related links on the same subject, AP, Reuters, etc... use the language of, "Israel is concerned" and "Israel is worried", as opposed to "Israel is terrified", before going into a several minute apocalyptic scenario if the US doesn't act soon.

Just watching this article, statement after statement made is how doomsday is upon the world if Egypt ends up with any form of government that isn't to Israel's liking. Even towards the end of the news clip, the reporter states, "It is rather amazing that no one is burning Israeli flags". Yeah no kidding because this protest isn't about Israel, its about the Egyptian people getting rid of the Mubarak government, not Israel.

Perhaps Israel should have made more of an effort to make inroads with the Egyptian people and its neighbors than relying on US foreign aid bribe money to Egypt's government to keep the peace.

Israel should be worried. They have had 30 years of relative peace and military superiority which should have allowed them to negotiate a peace settlement from a position of strength.

But what have they done? They have continued to build settlements in the Occupied Territories, they have successfully kept the West Bank and Gaza in a state of economic misery, they have worked hard to keep Lebanon destabilized, they have refused to accept the verdict of monitored democratic elections in Gaza because it didn't suit them and they have had multiple military forays into Lebanon, Gaza and the West Bank where they targeted the general population.

Israel will probably never have a better chance to get a peace settlement that works for them. If Mubarak falls then its going to get tougher not easier for them. Always better to negotiate from a position of strength. Sure, you won't get everything you want but you will get a lot more than negotiating from weakness. You cannot live in a state of near war for ever and you cannot take US support as granted for ever.

Sorry, but you do not seem to be well informed on the Iran-Iraq war.
I know you're talking to someone else, but during the I-I War, he is correct in saying that the U.S. supplied both sides of the war. Iraq was given weapons and Iran was given cash incentive to fight. I don't think Iranians today really consider this a main tenant of their hatred, but I'm sure it's a reason for distrust.

His #1 - the installation of Reza Shah, however, is heads and shoulders the winner.

And that's why you don't institute your leaders into another country against their people's will. Bad. Bad. Bad.

Default Not A Situation For "Muppets" !!!

sanrene !!! ... Good onya !

And yet as we continue to observe Egypt's dilemma ... the tenacious manner in which the so called President of Egypt continues to maintain a seemingly iron grip on his "Pharaoh's Imperial Interests", as he has for 30 years seemingly appears most facinating !!!

One can only ponder a guess how the current brill WH inhabitants would handle a similar disasterous situation should it occur in the States. What ?

Blimey ... all HO & the Muppet Crew have been doing on the Gogglebox is calling for the President of Egypt to bugger off and not allow the police or military to do it's job of protecting people or property !

Imagine if this unprecedented situation would ave appened in the States .. would the TPOTUS adhere to the same procedures with the military lads and lassies and police as dictated to the President of Egypt ?

As we seriously consider the above statement ^ ... a mate would absolutely have to be off his onion to believe that young and vastly inexperienced young bloke in the WH would ever adhere to the same rot given to todays Egyptian Pharoah ! What ?

Uncle Tom Cobley and All in Egypt had bloody well do everything they can to get their country stabilized and back to a degree of normalcy .. or we could all be in a seroius world of hurt if the fireworks breaks out over in that acutely dangerous area of the world ... Think about it !
