That is the "solution" to the budget shortfalls of the municipalities that have to pay for police protection. The solution? SLOW THE HELL DOWN! You aren't gonna get a ticket for nothing.

This thread is chock full of children who kno nothing about laws and policing. This is exactly what the youth of our country have turned into. They don't want to obey a single law and just want complete chaos. It's really a shame, the youth of today is going to be the world's complete downfall and destruction.
Instead they are becoming more aggressive at giving everyone stupid petty tickets over nothing. These tickets are in excess of hundreds of dollars and really hurt the people that aren't doing well right now. People that are struggling right now can't afford to pay a 500 dollar ticket. Does anyone else have a problem with these punk cops doing this to us?
Sure they're protecting us. They enforce the laws to protect us law abiding citizens from lawbreakers like yourself.

You people defending cops are pathetic. If you got a ticket for a bs infraction you'd be pissed too.
Stop acting like you're so perfect and people that get tickets are horrible human beings. The cops are against us so decide which side you want to be on.
Here is another one that by the way the reply is written probably has an attitude on cops and most likely does not like getting tickets even if he knows he deserve them. Most of us simply accepted we have been wrong and we also do realize there are bad cops out there just as in any group that has bad apples. No one said that those that get tickets are horrible human beings. But as I said, there are some people with attitudes and you seem to portray that also. You do not seem objective by the fact that you may cite cops as bad but not do not leave the door open that there are good cops. Decide which side we want to be on? Is this an 'us vs them' thing? Here is where I do not see objectivity on your part, take care.

"They" were probably saying the same about the youth back in the 60's who protested for civil rights. The "chaos" that will happen if a black goes to school with a white or drinks from the same fountain, America will go to hell in a hand basket. Don't question the establishment, it will make you a "rebel rouser". Know your place in society..........

Local governments, especially in rural areas with a sparse tax base, are struggling with finances right now.
Some of them make a considerable amount of money ticketing speeders passing through their territory.
So don't speed enough to get noticed. Simple. I'm always going just a little slower than the people who get nailed.

Why hate the cops?
They're just doing their job, which is to enforce the laws that the politicians create. You know, the politicians that YOU vote for.
You can do two things:
1 - Obey the traffic laws.
2 - Vote out the politicians who annoy you.
