Then you haven't really spent much time reading this board. I'm a liberal. I voted for Obama. And I stated when the stimulus was proposed my disagreement with it. I've stated over and over again why I thought healthcare reform is desperately needed, and how this particular bill didn't address the real problems. I've expressed my dissatisfaction with this administration's lack of transparency. I've expressed my dissatisfaction with how Obama has handled Guantanamo. I've expressed my dissatisfaction with the way the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq have been handled. And many other liberals have weighed in on these things as well. You haven't personally seen liberals complaining the way you would like them to? Well, conservatives don't see the world the way I would like them to, either. That's why there are different perspectives. But to paint the debate as something that is strictly partisan is intellectually dishonest, while being politically expedient. I think we have too much political expedience in this country, and not enough intellectual honesty.
And from who you can tell will be running at this point, are you looking at voting for a different candidate, or most likely voting for Obama again?
Sure. That will come right after the post from Obama supporters who admit "I was wrong. Though I have supported him from the beginning, I am ready to admit that Obama is a horrible president and am ready to stop blaming Bush". There comes a time that people believe so strongly about something that they will never admit they were wrong, even if they are surrounded by mountains of evidence that they are. It comes from both sides.
That is a matter of opinion but the president's birth place is a matter of fact...apples and oranges.
+1. The left should be thanking Trump instead of talking crap.
Yes. We should thank him for starting another round of chatter about something that had already been answered 800 times. We should thank him for feeding into a crazy discussion that defied all logic. We should think him for making his candidacy not about issues, but about ridiculousness. Thanks, Don.
Seriously, this is the problem. Stuff like this has become so common, and it goes on and on and on even when it clearly makes no sense. Its like the whole "Obama is a muslim" thing... no facts to back that one up either. "Obama is a socialist/communist/facist".. which of course makes no sense, they can't all be true at the same time. They are contradictory. Its like a big game of "when did you stop beating your wife?" And nothing ever makes it stop.
And now we have Trump implying the president wasn't smart enough for Columbia or Harvard Law School.. where he GRADUATED MAGNA CU.M LAUDE and was the freaking editor of the Harvard Law Review. But no, we have to see his transcripts to "prove" he belonged there. Because Trump "heard" he was a bad student. Alrighty then.
I'll never get it because it is not like there are not real things to disagree about. I don't think Obama is perfect but this stuff is just beyond stupid, and everyone keeps coddling the crazy.
BAHAHAHAHAHA I knew it wouldn't take long for somebody to say this long form BC is photoshopped!!!

I think you misread my statement. Plus, last time I checked the 1960's is not now...
The CURRENT law in HAWAII does NOT RECONIZE the long form certificate as an OFFICIAL STATE document ANYMORE.
In the 1960's, you were probably right, but guess what, it is not the 1960's.
Seriously, how about you read up on the "Full Faith and Credit" clause of the Constitution before you patronize someone. If Hawaii says the short form is the only legal birth certificate for that state currently, then ALL states must recognize it...and that means wherever you live too.
Well guess what, President Obama was born in the
1960's. HI states the short form is TYPICALLY the
only certificate they issue to it's residents. Any
person in HI, with a legitimate reason for needing
to show his "original long form birth certificate"
can, and will, get a photocopy of that in HI.
And if HI will not do so, I'm sure a court order
would suffice.
There is nothing in their laws, that state otherwise.
You are confusing policy with law.
No, in the 1960's I'm not probably right, I am
absolutely right I don't care what HI stated in
the media. I always knew the President could
request his long form, have it photocopied and
present it to the American people. The fact that
he did it, proves it.
And no, individual states don't have to
accept anything HI does.
Can't you just be happy, our President
has finally brought this to a close
*sigh* Birth certificate really? God damn it, this is another embarrassment to our international reputation, worse than one of Bush's speeches. This is why I'm tempted to tell people I'm Canadian whenever I'm overseas now.

Trump still hasn't backed off "I have investigators in Hawaii…they cannot believe what they are finding".
They found out that Hawaii is in the Pacific, and Trump doesn't believe them.
