That happened AFTER the f-troop agents opened fire on the front door of the building. And also after the same agents that were fire upon opened fire through the window. BTW, that wasn't a "SWAT team", that was agents of the US dept of the treasury. Tax collectors.

There is room for debate, but it is clear that the gas canisters used by the feds did spread a highly flammable material, and incendiary flares/grenades fired by the feds were found. There is plenty of evidence that the fire was started by the agents.

That was the version that the media reported to cover for the Clinton Administration. If you are interested in the truth of what happened on that day, read The Davidian Massacre by Carol Moore.

No, the government killed them. Plain and simple. All they had to do was wait. But no, the macho government could not wait. So they killed all of them.

Yes, this. Taking Koresh was not enough. If they wanted Koresh, they could have taken him anytime outside of his home. It wasn't like he was trying to hide. He was always out in the community. They wanted to send a message and it required the lives of 79 innocent people, including 20 children(14 of which were at or under the six). The Clinton Administration didn't just shoot these poor people, to get their point across, they had to burn them to death.

I blame bad parenting.

Yes, the parenting skills of the Attorney General, President, BATF agents, and FBI agents may have been lacking in quality.

No, I was referring to the cult of parents that were killed and got their children killed. Definitely bad parenting on their part.

You are blaming the victims. Do you also blame a woman who wears a bikini and gets drunk for her rape?

Nope, that would be a different topic. I don't think the idiots in Waco were victims. Though in all honesty, I don't really care, this is a story from the early 90's on a thread from 2011...

Parenting skills had nothing to do with the deaths of these children. Their deaths were caused by an over zealous AG. If they wanted Koresh, all they had to do was wait for him in town and picked him up. He wasn't hiding in the compound. He was out and about.
