He watched about 6 innings before the game was then delayed for him to depart again.

Was he rushing off to official important business? No he was having a dinner with people who were interested in having him run for president.

Christie has shown what fiscal conservatives mean when they say we all need to tighten our belts in these tough economic times... all the regular people are going to get the shaft while people like him continue to live lavishly.

First Read - Chris Christie's helicopter ride
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA To use a common leftie meme, is THIS all the left has?

Your worried about THAT when Obama routinely goes on huge multi-million dollar junkets and when Pelosi was in her prime using military jets to haul her *** around cross county routinely? That's just for starters. But no, the silence on the left on that waste is deafening...

Go on, go talk some more about a helicopter ride... Oh boy, big time waste there. Oh the horror.

What "junket" has the President went on? The President can't travel alone. The secret service isn't going to allow that. Conservatives as well as Libs critisized Pelosi BUT as usual, you all wont even consider rebuking Fat Boy..Shameful.

Christie Creme has been tearing apart the State Police pension and the state is laying off police officers by the hundreds BUT he can do this and you all excuse it..GET OUT A HERE!!

"Mr. Christie and his press staff hunkered down until late Wednesday, as Mr. Christie was pummeled on prime-time cable news. Previous governors of both parties have reimbursed the state for the cost of such trips. A spokesman said Wednesday that Mr. Christie won't reimburse the state, however."

Thanks for NOTHING CHRIS.

Well I wouldn't call closing an $11 billion budget gap nothing........

New Jersey's budget: Chris Christie's compromise | The Economist

"In the small hours of June 29th Mr Christie and the state legislature closed an unprecedented $11 billion budget gap. They did this without increasing taxes. New Jerseyans, who have one of the highest tax burdens in the nation, sighed with relief."

I wouldn't be so quick to pat him on the back. Sure he made strides in that but at what cost? He's laid off hundreds of thousands of people that are now on unemployment. He's cut education. Cut police and firemen. Crimes rates are up in many towns. snow removal was a wreck this past year because that dept had layoffs too. Local taxes increased exponentially last year.

anyway, back to the topic at hand. No one would fault him for using the helicopter for official governor business. I wouldn't care if he flew in to cut the ribbon at a new shoprite or dedicate a memorial. Those fall within the capacity of the office of the governor. Please tell me it says it is within the governor's duties to use police helicopters to attend baseball games.

Wasn't someone responsible for digging up dirt on Chris Christie?

This is all they got?

Really?
Somebody would really look stupid if a paid receipt showed up, documenting he himself paid for the out of way trip.

Are you insane? Please support that he laid off hundreds of thousands of people.

NJ spends $4,000 more per pupil than the average, it could use some cuts.

Police and fire are paid for by municipalities and have nothing to do with the Governor.

Please support your exponential tax increase garbage, There is a 2% cap on tax increases.

I don't think you can substantiate one word in this post.

Look at all the anti-fat bigots on this thread.
He can't be President because he's fat?
(BTW, he's not running.)

this is a prime example of conservative politicians...conservative in name and rhetoric..there's no such thing as a conservative politician..that's an oxymoron..
the party that created this mess has ink on their hands.. and STILL conservative voters vote for them.. how many times do you have to burn your hand on the stove before you wake up?
