Was voting for Obama worth it?
But do you really think Mccain would've been much better?

I don't believe Obama has been a good president, in fact he's been very mediocre. But I don't believe Mccain would've been much better.

The current evidence would seem to indicate such. All you have to do is look at the current result.

Inasmuch as he would have had more pro-economic growth policies, yes. A growing economy generates enough tax revenue to fund the state and local governments in which black employees are overrepresented.

Obama wants a bigger and more intrusive government, but growing the government shrinks the very economy that the government must depend on for the tax revenue it needs to grow.

Guess you'll have to fall in the pro- "historic reversal of hard-won economic gains that took black people decades to achieve" camp.

Yes, of course, because the 12% of black people in this country totally swept obama into the whitehouse. If it werent for the overwhelming leverage that 12% of the population has in the electorate, the other 88% would have surely won and made McCain the president. Yes, that makes total sense. 12% is practically a majority. No wonder Obama won by a landslide.

I dont like obama either, and I dont think he has done a good job digging us out of this recession. But Im not naive enough to think he's the one who led us into this debacle either.

I feel the same way. Bush led us into this situation. Obama has tried to get us out, but isn't doing a very good job at it. But as I said before I don't think Mccain would've done much better.

Obama won by a 7.27% margin. Think about it.

So who would they vote for if not Obama?

Bachmann, who thinks they were better off as slaves?
