I dont want really want socialism either, but what do we do when corporations ship jobs by the millions overseas because its cheaper.
Corporations can't arbitrary "ship jobs" overseas, trade has to be bilateral and the only way you get trade deficits with a modern currency system is if one country is actively manipulating their currency....
You guys like to blame "corporations", but its just a smoke screen for the real issue, namely currency manipulation by China and some other nations.

The US exports $1.3 trillion in goods/services, China exports $1.5 trillion...not a big difference. And China really doesn't export more "complex things", assembling computers and other electrics isn't "complex". Where are the CPUs from? Where are the GPUs from? Where are the displays, etc. Mostly from other countries, the US being one of them.
Socialism, something every modern industrial nation has, something that gives more than ten (I just stopped counting there) countries, better healthcare, longer life expectancy, lower infant mortality, better public transportation, higher quality of life, higher levels of happiness, if there be socialism, it is a damned good thing. The problem with those who think like Blackshoe is that they believe, and that precious few facts can be twisted to support their beliefs, matters not a whit.
[QUOTE In recent decades the Democratic Party has been gradually taken over and is now controlled by far left radicals, Marxists if you will.
Socialism persists only because of the vitality and dynamism of American Capitalism. Did you see the European markets today?
In a few years the world will be dominated by a quasi-communist nation with an enormous peasant population. And so the apocalypse begins.
Any liberal that says the GOP is destroying our country needs to go back to school and get educated about history and human policy. Capitalism/Republic form of governing a population are the ONLY methods that will last. Democracy wont Socialist wont/Communism doesnt work (just look back 20 years to get the idea). The principals of the founding fathers is what drives this country and alot of liberals are here to destroy that (Especially people from the Peoples Republic of Californiastan). 5 major businesses and investments leaving california per week isnt enough i guess. Jello Brown will probably be remembered as the governor that knocked california off the #1 state economy and gave the title to GOP Texas.

And yet you think it's OK (grammar errors, misspellings and all) to argue that liberals are doing it instead? I'll give you the same advice you dished out above.
