So you believe we should send foreign aid based on a countries treatment of gay?
Of course. Do you believe people should be killed for being who they are? Do you think it's right? Do you really believe that refusing to do so will save our economy? Perry is grasping at straws. He's done.
This is over-the-top - even for Rick Perry. Just terrible. He says equal rights for gays are a "war on traditional American values".
Maybe he'll get the endorsement of the John Birch Society, but will there be anybody else?

we (the people) should not be 'giving' some right to just a select group
we are all humans and deserve the rights of humans....our sex, gender, sexual oriantation, religion, political afermantion, of nation of origine should have no matter in the fact of basic human right
gay is not a right..niether is hetro..it is a condition of the humans, not a right
considering the fact that some foreign governments are condoning violence and murder for their GLBT citizens, I don't see how Obama's rule is unreasonable. Foreign aid to these governments should always have some strings attached in my opinion. In fact, Perry might have made more sense if he had said to end foreign aid ENTIRELY. Are Perry's followers this heartless? Would they have condoned foreign aid to Hitler's Germany when the Holocaust was occurring because they were Jews, gypsies, intellectuals and homosexuals?

Save it for the late night TV Evangelists and assorted other religious shuysters. YOUR particular branch of your particular segment of your particular religion may lay claim to "the truth," but there's a whole lotta others out their who lay claim to the same. That's why our laws our SECULAR. In a country like the United States, where we pretend to care about "liberty and freedom," you're going to have to learn to quelch YOUR desire to restrict the lives of others based on YOUR religion... NOT the other way around!
