I'm not an Atheist nor a Christian, but I guess you think only those two groups exist in the United States? I guess you also believe ALL Christians are anti-gay, and that is simply not true... many of our Christian churches & synagogues around here are gay friendly, many gays are religious themselves, and there are even gay clergy men/women. So this isn't a clearly divided religious vs atheist debate, and I'd appreciate (as a religious follower who supports equality) if you'd stop trying to make it one.
Btw, the last time I checked nationwide polls, around 55-60% of Americans are in support of gay marriage... so if 83% of us identify as Christians, that tells me around half of your fellow Christians would disagree with your position on the issue. One of my dearest friends is a born-again Fundamentalist Christian, and yet she's extremely supportive of her lesbian daughter & voted against Prop 8. Soooooo, what is your point?

You also appear to continually confuse one poster with another. I think the only time I have ever posted anything about the prostate was to correct you when you ignorantly misspelt it as "prostrate" a few months ago in this thread: Nobody is born Gay.
You don't appear to realise that most children will get grossed out by mommy and daddy kissing in a sexual way or anything to do with anything sexual. Try telling your daughter that daddy sticks his penis in mommy's vagina if you really want to gross her out.

Yes, exactly. I don't think anyone is saying we should give "details" to children, and they don't even discuss general sexuality until a certain age. I remember taking sex ed in 5th grade, and they simply presented the facts - how babies are made, what to call the genitalia and reproductive parts, how puberty works, etc. Including the facts on homosexuality would be similar, and nobody would be told how to perform specific sex acts. At least not in any legitimate school programs! So what's the problem? Are people so insecure in their personal beliefs, they can't even accept science & biology? Oh wait, I already know the answer to that.

ETA: I'm the only lesbian of all the students who were molested by that teacher so don't try that whole "oh that must be why you're gay" reasoning cause the rest of them are straight.

I'm gay. My girlfriend is gay. A lot of my friends are gay. There are a lot of gay people in my town. I have yet to meet one that supports NAMBLA.

As I mentioned above, I had a few incidents myself as a young/teenage girl... once from a 40-something bus driver when I was only 15 (he tried to corner & kiss me when I returned to get something I'd left on his bus), another time when I was waiting for my ride after school (creepy random adult who tried to touch me as I sat in the grass), and a couple of others around the same age. Luckily I was a big & strong young woman, who was able to fend them off before it got serious - but it definitely affected my trust in straight men, although I didn't allow it to make me HATE them in general. Pedophiles exist, unfortunately, but it's hardly a gay phenomenon. If anything, I'd say it's more of a heterosexual male phenomenon, since they seem to be the worst offenders.

I voted unsure. Its not normal or natural, but its an way of life on an significant minority. Of course many hetrosexuals have an way of life that is very far from being normal or natural. I don't care what consenting adults do in private.
Why do you guys keep using the "not natural" argument? How are you defining natural? Homosexuality exists in the entire animal kingdom. Ergo, it exists in nature and is therefore natural. Far more natural than the majority of things humans do like, type on computers, drive cars, fly in airplanes, eat processed junk food, etc.
