wrong. birthers are trying to remove a sitting president thru methods other than impeachment and refuse to acknowledge the full faith and credit clause of the US constitution ( plus some birthers demanding to see a baptismal certificate ). all unconstitutional
as for patriotism..... the birthers have supported sedition and desertion among our military ( terry lakin, daryn moran ) and have called a decorated combat vet and purple heart recipient a "traitor" for following the law and the constitution ( orly taitz to judge david o. carter ). these are not traits of a patriot imo.

Common sense is a true buzz-kill for those with delusions that seem to be vital to their very being. Oddly enough, people act as though President Obama suddenly materialized when he gave that amazing key note speech. We here in Illinois have known about Barack for a couple of decades now...and NO background checks appeared which would have made his birth questionable. The GOP moved Alan Keyes here very briefly to run against Barack for U.S. Senator, and had there been any serious (as in sane) questions about his citizenship they would have come out long before now. Orly and her compatriots in Birther World must be laughing all the way to the bank, fueled by money from people who are dangerously credulous. And just as a guess, I'd say that having been a Constitutional Law professor, President Obama would have been the first to grasp that he wasn't an American. TBS, some folks just have nothing better to do than try to make a lie into a truth; that's a sticky wicket when all of the available evidence refutes every argument that can be created in fevered imaginations.
