I'm sure there are plenty of real-life graphic videos pro-choicers could come up with as well. Should some pro-choice group air an ad of a child being raped by her own father? And then another of a student being raped by her teacher and another of a teenager being date-raped. Make sure to include some violence. I wonder if that will key pro-lifers into the value of choice. If pro-lifers think we need disturbing graphics to understand their point, maybe it's because that's what they need and are just projecting?
The irony is that many in the pro-life camp are justifying this type of ad by stating that people need to actually see it to know what an abortion is. If the pro-choicers depicted what you suggested (a good idea I think), they would be chastized from here to eternity....what about the children? the double standard remains.

What about the children? The children not aborted get to live. That's an important consideration especially if you are a member of one of the demographics, poor whites and blacks, abortion proponents wish to reduce.
None of these ads really shock me. My mom was planning on aborting me but I came out really early. Nothing really phases me after that. I still support a woman's choice, by the way. Try me, Randal Terry. Honestly, Terry's ads are more alarming because he has the guts to compare abortion to the Holocaust and slavery, and he is going to offend a lot of people who will only see that and not the point he's trying to make (which I think is well and good because he's doing an awful job at trying to make his point).
Jews, blacks, fetuses have all been considered "non-human" at some time in history in order to justify whatever a given population wants to do them. I feel it is a fair comparison.
The piece you're missing is that most pro-choicers are already aware of reality. They have just decided to come to a different conclusion. Don't assume someone is misinformed just because they have an opinion different from yours.
I cannot agree with this statement. They "normally" deny the "humanity" of the baby they advocate killing. That does not constitute "reality."

In addition to paralleling this ad with images of the Holocaust and lynchings, why not also use some images of tortured people from the Inquisition, witch burnings, and Crusades. Seems to me that the suffering from all of those events stemmed from religion.
I'm unaware of any religion that condoned either lynchings, the holocaust, or abortion. Perhaps you could "enlighten" me and provide some evidence of such.
While you're at it please explain or justify the some 100 million people who managed to die under the athiest leaderships of the 20th century communists.
Thats fine, as long as the pro choice crowd can show molested middle schoolers that will be forced to go through with pregnancies, rape victims forced to give birth to babies that they didn't want to have. Lets also have them show babies of drug addicts slowly dying because they've been so screwed up and the pregnancy should have been aborted.
Rape accounts for something like 1% of the 50 million abortions performed in this country since roe v wade. For what it's worth many/most of us who oppose abortion would concede the need for such in the case of rape or the health of the mother.
As for drug addicted babies, this from a source you wouldn't approve of anyway, but this new book indicats most of the drug users in this country are liberals.......the very same people who advocate abortion in the first place. I could call using that excuse to kill children as rather "hypocritical." Oh the irony.

I think all broadcast should be that way. If NBC wants to show porn at 11pm, then I think they should have that right. As long as it is labeled properly with proper time for parents to know what is coming on.
But what I find hypocritical is that the same people who rage against violent and disturbing images on TV, are the same people wanting this add to go through.
Does this mean you consider abortion "violent" and "disturbing?"

I live in another country and don't watch sports and even I know that the Janet Jackson "mishap" occurred.
