That sounds like a losser attitude to me. I don't like my job, don't take the time to find a better job, I'll just have the government make my employer give me time off. Though to keep costs down, they would probably pay you off because you complain so much.

You realize if government mandated paid vacation the cost of every product and service would go up?

If other western nations could do it, so should we. Tell me one, only 1 industrial nation without mandate of paid vacation.

Cost may go up slightly, or perhaps longer wait in line. I would be fine... Raise minimum wage or wages in general and it makes sense.

But wait. That's not possible. I know lots of people who live & work here in the United States, and they work for evil corporations, and they get vacation days. They even get PAID vacation days. And we all know that no evil corporation would ever give their employees paid vacations if the benevolent hand-holding take care of everything government didn't force them to do so!

Few retail workers gets paid vacation. I work in retail and get absolutely no paid vacation. I'm in fear taking more than a week off UNpaid vacation. Corporations only usually gives two weeks off.... Wow big deal.

I don't even know where to begin.

Other western nations have 27% unemployment, riots in the streets, and confiscate money in private bank accounts; maybe we can do those things too!!!

What do you think minimum wage should be? I really hope you say a living wage so a whole bunch of people can be layed off and a Big Mac would cost $25

You confuse southern Europe with Northern and western Europe. Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Australia, etc. all have lower unemployment rate than us.

Minimum wage should be $12 an hour. CEOs should lower their incomes, and it will be same price. They don't need $50000000000 wage.

No person who works full time should make less than $2,500/month.

Like I said again, someone making minimum wage can always find a better job.

Minimum wage is for high schoolers. All you have to do to make more then minimum wage is show up, that is it, just show up and someone will pay you more than minimum wage. For some reason you can only get a job for minimum wage then you can always move to an area where works are in demand and they will lay you more. Plus you can always join the military and learn real life skills and serve your country.

Look at all these solutions, I look forward to more excuses.
