Hey, you had better cut that out!!! You are talking sense to the liberals now and they will have none of that!!!

Seriously, why is that people on the right support workers rights tooth and nail and fight against the corruption of the Unions and lefties just want to make a poorer & lazier working class that has the Union to protect them? It is obvious that non-union products are better as there is something at stake for the employee. If I was a business owner I would not want a Union to control my employees, I would want to create a working environment that employees wnated ot be in as it would make my bottom line better. Unions create an "us vs. them" mentality from the start but then again, that is the left-wing way, divide as much as possible.

Have you ever belonged to a union?

I think unions would be more respected if they just called a spade a spade and let companies fire unproductive workers or workers who break the rules.

They've gotten a bad name and a rep for protecting all workers regardless of what they did.

Yes. When I was 16 I was forced to join a union while working for a grocery store. They did NOTHING for us but happily collected our dues.

Labor laws are separate from unions so I don't think those conditions will return. Less then 8% of people in private sector jobs are in unions.
The other 92% are not and don't work under those conditions you speak of.

Or as a supporter of right to work, would you far rather work in a NON unionized place where people make $9 an hour, but work in freedom from not having to worry about a labor union taking money from you?
I work in a company that has both union plants and non union plants the difference is 2$ I work for a plant that has no union! after the union gets its cut from the union plant worker, it brings the union worker down to the non union worker level!! how is the union helping, YES THEY GET 2$ EXTRA but the union turns around and takes it away I don't have to worry about paying dues to a union that gives most of its money to democrats that I don't agree with!

I don't know why the left/dems think public sector employees should be a protected, privileged class...oh wait....yes I do!

Because 99% of ALL union political money goes to the democrats.

With the GOP ascendency of control in state legislatures around the country, the unions should have thought long ago about hitching their wagon to one particular party.
