Hmmmm..... I don't think Bernie Madoff, the Unibomber and thousands of other criminals looked like that.

Correct , not all do. Many here like to think the police are stupid. Im not going to try and tell you it will be a cop that cures cancer. One thing cops know are people. They are experts at reading people. I assume you ride. Do you know many members of OMC's who dont look like criminals?

Really? You have some knowledge as to what those police officers were saying to those women, as they walked from our office to the train station 13 years ago? Please, enlighten us.

What does a criminal look like?

The police here do exactly what the taxpayers here want them to do. Keep low lifes from destroying their good quality of life that they have worked hard to get , while going easy on the taxpayers paying their salaries.
That is actualy what most responsable honest hardworking Americans want.
Too bad they assume certain people are lowlifes, while other real lowlifes get away scot free.......

Meanwhile we have a very low crime rate, in a state with the lowest crime rate in the country. Works for me.

Of course it does. You got off scot-free with possession of 52 pounds of illegal drugs because the cops didn't push the issue with you like they would have had your skin not been pale.

Who's the criminal here?

The old walk like a duck...talk like a duck is more often true then not...but there a definately instances where the old wolf in sheeps clothing happens too!!But cops aren't mind readers they can't look into someones soul and know their intent...so they profile...not only based on skin color but partly it is an unpleasent reality I agree...but again I would be angry at the criminals that get me stopped more so then the police...I'm sorry if some disagree!

White collar criminals usually do look like Bernie Madoff, nut jobs like the Unibomber,Hinckley, and Son of Sam also look like that. Drug dealers, car thieves and rapists usually don't like the other two groups...So whats your point??

I see. That's entirely different than what I said. Thanks for clearing that up.

stop and frisk isnt illegal either. all you need is reasonable suspicion. for some cops just being black is reasonable suspicion, which is why you see such high frisk rates for non whites.
