a kilt or gladiator style 'skirt' etc.. may have had specific reasons in their time and place.

However, you will not see a lot of men wearing these outfits in the local shopping mall nowadays.

Today, a woman wears a skirt as a sexual symbol - and notice here I use the word 'woman', ie: an adult.

So, a normal man, will see a skirt on a woman and be sexually attracted in a subliminal or overt manner.

Or any of the Polynesian Islands, Hawaii, India, etc... and some of these places have the manliest men in the world! At least in my opinion.

But we're really getting off-track here, since this thread isn't about men in skirts (or short shorts either). Not all gay people dress outlandishly, in fact most DON'T. Even walking around the Castro District here, the majority will be dressed appropriately by general standards - particularly those who have children. Just because they're gay, that doesn't mean they lack common sense or parenting skills.

and of course, underneath a kilt there is usually another solid garment, not a pair of lace panties, so clearly not the same.

How do you know what men OR women have under their garments? Why am I suddenly having flashbacks to the movie "Splash?"

at least a hetero marriage has the ability to produce children, in which case the marriage has more chance of staying together - ie: 'for the sake of the children'
