So....he hates Obama. <shrug>

Obama has drummed up a phony "war on women" and says Republicans want "dirty air and dirty water".

It's all the politics of mudslinging. We should be used to it by now.

Let's see. there are pretty much three parts of his comments. The parts that are lies, the parts that are just made up without evidence, and the parts that he uses just to stir up hatred against him.

For instance, the part where he says "We've got a Muslim for a president"? That's just a lie. He knows it, and anyone who repeats it knows it.

The part where he says the President "hates cowboys, hates cowgirls, hates fishing, hates farming," it's hard to say that it's a documented lie, but it's just made up. No evidence to support it, but he figured it was a good line.

And the part where he says the President "loves gays"? Well, apparently unlike Hank, Jr., and his fans at this concert, the President actually respects people regardless of their sexual orientation, and supports equal rights for gay people. If you want to characterize this as "loves gays" you're free to do so. as for me, I have a hard time seeing why supporting equal rights for gays is something that anyone should be criticized for, but I'm not a bigot like Hank, Jr.

Hank Williams Jr. has recorded many songs and albums over the years. Thirteen of his albums became number one hits. Twenty of his albums went Gold. Five of his albums went Platinum.
A few early songs were from his father's bag, but Hank, Jr. is successful in his own right.
1. Long Gone Lonesome Blues
2. Texas Women
3. Dixie on My Mind
4. All My Rowdy Friends (Have Settled Down)
5. A Country Boy Can Survive
6. Born to Boogie
7. There's a Tear In My Beer
8. Family Tradition
9. Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound
10. All my Rowdy Friends are coming over tonight

Personally, I don't like modern country music, but to deny that Hank, Jr. made his own niche is just stupid.
No one ever said Hank Jr. was not talented. yes he was, and most of us were entertained by him over the years. Also, he WAS riding on his Father's coattails, for many years., which may or maybe not his own idea. He was quite a different person in the early days, not so much like now when he has resorted to political reference of the worst kind.

He uses the Republican play book very well.

Goodbye to All That: Reflections of a GOP Operative Who Left the Cult

Among the GOP base, there is constant harping about somebody else, some "other," who is Subversives. deliberately, assiduously and with malice aforethought subverting the Good, the True and the Beautiful: Commies. Socialists. Ragheads. Secular humanists. Blacks. ****. Feminazis. The list may change with the political needs of the moment, but they always seem to need a scapegoat to hate and fear.

Think about it, Filipinos are predominantly devout Catholics/christians, gun lovers, conservative in nature.

Dissed Americans? are frikking kidding me? Here you have a man, blowing sunshine up the backsides of Asian leaders so he can use them as cannon fodder for a potential war with either china or n.korea, just so he can save more American lives in the process, and your concerned about dissing??

Many Americans owe him a great deal of thanks, you owe him your alligiance, but ofcourse that would be unAmerican since many are a bunch of ungrateful spoilt little panzies.
Yes I'm concerned about how he has spoken to Americans........why don't you start a thread if this is the direction you want to go.

Hank Jr. wasn't immensely popular until he began singing his own songs with his own style. If you can't recognize the distinct difference between Hank Jr and Hank Sr.'s style, then you don't know country and western music.

Hank Jr. may have rode some "coattails" when he was very young, but no one can deny his success on his own merit, as the poster I answered stated.

But you said he didn't ride on his father's coat tails.
He would have remained unknown if not for his father.
How do you think he got his break? Name recognition.
