While I agree that scans a pat downs are a waste of time, money, resources, and braincells this woman knew what the deal was when she went to the airport did she not? Standing in line and arguing with the local TSA agent is not giong to change Federal policy. I have to think she had a reason for doing what she did other than "protecting her daughters".

I'm glad we have the TSA. That's one terrorist who won't be blowing up planes any time soon!

Yes, and the "report" is featured on an extremist website. The mother should be investigated for child abuse.

Sometimes people just rebel against a perceived tyranny, it can be on a bus, at a restaurant or an airport.

Not only is this an idiotic statement but the website is only "extremist" because you are a good little sheep who swallows hook line sinker what the msm feeds you.Go back to sleep your government will protect you right up until the point they imprison you for something you did....its just a matter of time before we are all terrorists in the eyes of the government.Oh and the only child abuse was the abuse done by the hands of the scum who work for the TSA...you would have LOVED living in Nazi Germany.

The mother always had the choice to not fly. However, I do agree that they go too far with those checks, but I don't know what the answer is because if they let the girl go because she is a teen that will become the newest terrorist recruit demographic.

I do hope that she appeals this conviction? the abuses of the TSA have gove too far. they should be shut down and have their employees tried for their abuses. remember that following orders is not a defense.

It's funny how many Obama supporters seem to support the TSA and their illegal tactics and yet were the same ones opposing GW Bush for much less invasive anti-terror techniques. It's funny that the TSA, an organization whose agents received little to no training, can get away with searches without probable cause and yet if police tried this on the street then they'd be out of a job or have charges filed against them.

I blame bush for coming up with the wishywashy department of the TSA and blame obama for keeping it in place. I never supported the feds putting into place such a unconstitutional department.

I for one cannot wait for the tsa to stop me on the highway.
