I hope they screen the teachers for psychological drugs.

In an era where teachers are having group sex with children, why do you trust them with guns?
There is absolutely no connection between sex and mass killings any more than there is between teaching math and mass killings.

That is an irony. Don't trust them because they are brainwashing the kids into a "liberal" mindset, but ok...carry a loaded weapon into class, we trust you to make sure nothing bad happens.

I don't care though. It's not my kids teacher or class or school.

The connection is that mentally unstable people can be teachers. I wouldn't trust them around my child with a gun.

Is that anyone that you would trust with a gun around your child? ANYONE can become mentally unstable. Or more likely, be distracted while the child gets to the gun.

it takes a certain mindset to feel comfortable killing somebody and being completely in the moment and not uneasy.

Then don't carry. I don't think the school district requires that they carry. It's optional.

A police officer or someone properly trained for such situations, maybe.

So as soon as a meeting doesn't go the way someone wants it to, or a principal upbraids a teacher for some kind of behavior, or a parent comes in and berates a teacher for his kid not doing so well, or a bully seriously gets out of hand...
