So as soon as a meeting doesn't go the way someone wants it to, or a principal upbraids a teacher for some kind of behavior, or a parent comes in and berates a teacher for his kid not doing so well, or a bully seriously gets out of hand...
I guess they will have to pack as well...to be taken seriously....in Texas.
Of course, if the teacher went nuts before this rule, he would surely abide by the current no gun policy for teachers.
Right?
I think this is a higher risk, were talking everyday having easy access to a gun, with kids around. Too many things can go wrong vs. the chance of deterring a mass murderer from the school.
I could only see this in a school where the kids are nuts enough to grab the gun and start shooting. That's a legitimate concern.
As far as teachers going nuts, doesn't worry me any more than it would now.
Ok so let's say the teacher is mental...
Going nuts and not having a gun around is safer than going nuts and having the gun right there.
