That's so far from the topic, it takes light years to get there. Store-bought clouding of the issue with non-issues.

Licensed, inspected gun ranges can keep your stockpiled ammo and you can store shoot there. All bullets sold in this country should have a serial number to trace it through ownership and sale. Too expensive? Too bad.

Close the absurd loopholes that define an assault weapon, too.

"Well regulated militia"

If we're going to make the leap that the 2nd Amendment does not refer to a standing army and instead private citizens, "well regulated" means this country can decide which weapons are acceptable and which are not for private citizens.

I'm all for a 'well regulated militia' in the meaning from the 1700's - Meaning of the phrase "well-regulated" .

"The phrase "well-regulated" was in common use long before 1789, and remained so for a century thereafter. It referred to the property of something being in proper working order. Something that was well-regulated was calibrated correctly, functioning as expected. Establishing government oversight of the people's arms was not only not the intent in using the phrase in the 2nd amendment, it was precisely to render the government powerless to do so that the founders wrote it."

Heres the problem.... Liberal tard reactionaries on this site ignoring the real problems like broken families and degenerate culture and just trying to ban things

It is sad how leftwing bedwetting lunitics ignore the problem

Mental illness has always been present as have lax gun laws in America.... but only recently (since the mid 90's) have mass shootings become commonplace. Culture is the problem and is the broken family unit

The majority supports the 2nd amendment ..... not the prostituting of children for your sick agenda by your ignorant media

Disgusting watching CNN and others sticking microphones in kids faces moments after the watched their friends gunned down..... disgusting

It isn't the rightwing that jumped on the latest tragedy here to push their agenda when we should be thinking of healing and helping those poor families

Think you need to look in the mirror and reread your OP. You might be on to something.

Educate yourself. It will set you free. Then you can get on to more serious proposals.

This isn't a serious proposal?

Tiny little bans won't do squat. Time to think big.

The MAJORITY of gun owners DO play responsibly.

What you are advocating is tyranny.

As for the majority, I think you might want to take a poll before you jump that your conclusion that most Americans want to "take away" guns. Most VOCAL isn't necessarily MOST.

Another post showing how immature lefties truly are.

I think lawyers could make a case of the current definition of well-regulated.

Removing weapons and tools of mass slaughter should be the priority.

Ah yes, any discussion lefties don't agree with is deemed childish.

Waaaahhhhh! Tyranny!

The "they want to take away all our guns!" argument is a foolish strawman. There is room for a common sense, serious reform.

Sorry, too many nutjobs have access to weapons of mass slaughter. Things will change.
