They are potential dangerous carriers of a deadly disease.
I would want to know. And from you lefties.....I am absolutely certain that no one in my circle have AIDS.
The fact you cannot resist attacking "lefties" in your OP tells me a lot.
No, they shouldn't be. AIDS is not the only deadly transmittable infection out there. Influenza and tuberculosis also kill lots of people in the US, and are FAR more easily spread than HIV/AIDS. Why single out AIDS sufferers? The only reason I can think of is to smear and stigmatize people who have what right-wingers think is a "gay" disease.
First of all, it is illegal to post medical records, especially on a map. It's pretty obvious you don't work or much knowledge of healthcare.
Secondly, have you personally checked and seen all your circle's medical records?
I think the OP was asking if HIV/AIDS-infected persons should be on a publically-accessible list. The fact medical records are currently private isn't relevant. The poster was specifically concerned with a dangerous disease with which the infected person can do harm to the community, not general medical records.
Thre's an AIDS epidemic among HS aged kids in Philly right now.
You tell me what year it is.
EVERYONE knows how AIDS is spread.....if you get it, you've earned it.
Sorry.
Then why did you imply it can be caught through airborne contact (hanging out in an AIDs patient's home)? I have a dear friend who is HIV positive, and we have shared a room many times... we've also shared a few drinks/cups and pipes over the years, but I'm still HIV negative. So what exactly did you mean by that comment? Please explain, before making other people sound like the stupid ones here.
Oh yeah, and there is NO way you could be "absolutely certain" nobody in your circle is HIV+, unless you've personally seen their medical records. Do you think everyone who has it is 100% honest, or that it can be spotted visually? Again, you sound like your information comes from 1982 - not 2012.
Or people who had blood transfusions pre-1990ish, or people (who were mentioned by the OP himself) who got it unknowingly from a "monogamous" partner, etc.
Is it just me, or did alphamale contradict himself 2-3x just in the first page of this thread? Shows he is grasping at straws, and can't even come up with a logical argument FOR his own premise. LOL.
Keep on telling that lie....... and you can get it from having a transfusion of tainted blood.
Before 1990-ish, yes - but nowadays they screen blood very carefully, and do not use any that tests positive for HIV/hepatitis/etc. Heck, I can't even donate blood because of my tattoos, and you don't think they would check for HIV?
