LLC's have no limit on members, but I don't think you have to register with the SEC. Have you spoken with a CPA or an attorney?

It isn't that expensive unless you are trying to go pubic and issue an IPO. My dad has listed several companies in the past and the cost was very minimal.

Remember, the minimum wage was worth much more when it was first instituted than it is today. Periodic raises in the minimum wage have lagged FAR behind the rate of inflation.
That's why people don't stay in minimum wage jobs. True, the min wage used to buy more, but Americans never really had to compete against other countries.

60% of Americans work for hourly wages (74 million)
Only 1.7 million make min wage..a mere 2%

The way some of you talk you'd think 80% of America is existing on min wage jobs.

That is because many are making barely above it. So if most min wage workers are teenagers why would a raise in min wage be a bad thing since the teens would spend the money shopping, eating out, movies. Higher wages equal more money in people hands to put back in the economy.

I supplied sources for my stats. Have any sources for your statement ?

If you just want more money in people's hands the Fed could do that and just mail everyone checks.

For once we agree. I think the way some cons talk, the economy is going to explode if this 2% of the population gets a raise.

It is common sense. If there are people who are poor and they are not making min wage then they must be making a little above it especially since most raises for people who were making min wage are little $.25-.50.

and the way the fascist liberals talk, giving the UNSKILLED a $2 raise will solve all our ills

fact raising the min wage AGAIN, (you just did it in 07, and 09 (part of the economic collaps)) will cause many SMALL BUSINESS ( even the libs admit we RUN ON SMALL BUSINESS) who's profit margin is only 1% to close, or to fire people, or raise prices, or all/part of the above.

oh please

most raises are based on an ANNUAL REVIEW

way back (in the 80's)when I was making like $15 an hour...had an annual review...said I was doing good...said give you a 1% raise...I ARGUED that inflation was 3% ( about 45 cent)and guess what...got it....

those getting .25cent raise...need to debate the WORTHINESS of their jobs

I think you mean that YOU are incredulous, or that the arrogance of some is incredible.
