This whole sexuality debate is a diversion by the media to keep us from issues that truly matter politically
Gays only make up 3-5% of the population yet many think they make up as many as 25 to 33% because of how much media coverage there is
The true story in sports to cover should be the rate of broke athletes after they retire. But the media doesn't really care about that.
The true story for this nation should be how many people know everything about their favorite sports team but don't know anything about who's even in office for their city/county/state
Anyway, Collins announced it for his own personal gain and to make a spectacle of himself.
So him mentioning in an interview that he's gay is something for his own personal gain and he's making a spectacle?? He's just mentioning a fact about his life in an interview about his life.

He didn't do anything, just truthfully answered a very simple question. Blame the ones who are making it a big deal. Not the random gay dude, but the media who for some reason loves to eat it all up.

Kluwe had his best season of his career for net punting, finished 9th in returns yards against, had just 2 touchbacks all year and averaged almost 50 yards in the Vikings playoff loss to the Packers.
the real thing that may have put Kluwe on the outs was wearing the Ray Guy HOF patch late in the year.
Being Jewish was enough to get me beat up on the playground by the children and their parents (or other adults) burn a cross on my lawn as a child in the 90s. Should my parents be chastised for choosing to having children while *gasp* daring to be Jewish?
Hmm I've never heard it. He was close to a male friend but he fathered several children. Maybe he was bi in today's parlance but there was no such thing as a homosexual. Sex was an act not an identity.
