Funny how those two things go hand in hand MTAtech, though the Cons will still find a way to blame it on the "evil unions."

People who want the work will agree to the wage that is set.

The problem is there is no objectivity. No one takes responsibility. It's always someone else's fault and the ability to make honest assessments of why business fails is thrown out the window. Until people have the internal fortitude to look at themselves - nothing will get fixed. Both sides probably had a hand in the failure of Hostess.

Yeah, because the last thing we need is a viable auto company providing well-paid manufacturing jobs.

When you need billions of taxpayer dollars to stay in business, you are not viable.

The 1920's created the first middle class, the 50's was IKE and he also reduced the size of government, expanding on what the 20's placed in many minds. Another common denominator of prosperity.

When 1/3 of Mexico starts streaming across the border it will make any cuts here look like a rounding error.

The unions had gained outragous rules not allowing 2 Hostess products on one truck.

18,000 voted for their unemployment to begin; now 1,500 who want to actually WORK w/o union feather-bedding will have an opportunity to reenergize this American icon.

You don't have to apply for the job and neither do anyone in those towns, starting the bakeries back up.

Isn't a choice in life wonderful, when you live in the USA. In China they would be forced....
