No - because they are being threatened.

FBI agents from the Cleveland and Pittsburgh offices, ATF, Pennsylvania Highway Patrol, Warren Ohio city police officer and more I'm sure.

Is that specific enough? Lol.

Oh yeah, county and city prosecutors have said the same thing to me.

Why?

Because they don't like having to prosecute law-abiding citizens who shoot intruders and when the intruder lives...they can raise "reasonable doubt" in the mind of a juror.

I guess they know folks like you.

This homeowner was not being threatened. He left his house to confront the kid. If you feel threatened you stay put and if you're so scared stand at the window with your gun on the thief.

How do you know?

Were you a witness?

No - if one is threatened, then the best course of action is to neutralize the threat, not to cower inside a house hoping that the threat just disappears.

You spoke very generally.

Let's analyze some actual incidents, and then determine if a legitimate threat existed.

Rotten, yes, and it's probably the thing I feel worst about doing as a kid, but I don't think we would have deserved a death sentence, but now I feel it could happen that way, and a bunch of people on forums would say "Well, they shouldn't have been trespassing!" I don't think burglary deserves a death sentence, either. I think this is crazy, nothing to celebrate here. IMO a sad day for all Americans. It's like the wild, wild west, and I find it frightening.
Well said.
