Historically, Blacks have done much worse than everyone else, in terms of poverty, death rates, unemployment rates. This is nothing new. Blacks have always done worse. A better question to ask is this: Why is it that Blacks have done worse than everyone else, regardless of if it was a Republican or a Democrat at the helm?

Blacks have done worse than everyone else under EVERY administration. As disappointed as I am in the President right now, I don't single him out specifically. I don't make this about President Obama. For me, this is about Blacks doing poorly compared to the rest of the population in EVERY administration.

No one competes for the black votes. That's why you've got both parties groveling to the illegals -- at least some hispanics are not locked into one party. The black vote is a given.
Even Obama isn't doing anything for blacks because nothing will lose their vote -- they'll vote for whatever democrat runs, end of story. Obama is promising illegals all kinds of American Dreams, he doesn't need to promise blacks anything.

If you really believe the "one party system" is the problem, then please explain why Blacks have been doing so badly going all the way back to the 1900s. This is historical.
And consider this. Because of the way the immigration issue is approached, alot of Hispanics voted for President Obama. Alot of Asians did too. They are all doing much better than Blacks are. Perhaps this has NOTHING to do with how Blacks vote. Blacks were doing poorly compared to the rest of the population when Reagan, Bush, and Bush Jr were President. During the Reagan and Bush years, the Drug War was taking place. Black incarceration rates, Black murder rates, all up the roof.
