Barack Obama had it right: A strike on Syria is necessary. I supported, and still support, those strikes.

I guess when you've got Vladimir Putin staring you in the face, the United States is nothing more than a neutered cat. At least that's what this latest "proposal" indicates.

What a ****ing embarrassment this President has bestowed on the legacy of the United States of America.
Why are you picking on Syria? Why no call to punish a North Korea where hundreds of thousands have been starved to death by other Hitler-esque dictators?

What a biased piece of tripe your rant about Syria is while ignoring all the OTHER countries committing atrocities that were never addressed by other Presidents. We KNOW you hate Obama, no need to feign concern for others, just be honest and admit it's all about your hatred.

You don't get it do you?
No, I think YOU don't get it. Why would Assad willingly give up his weapons? That's the crucial question. We were prepared to launch tomahawks in there until this "breakthrough" yesterday.

Willingly? Willingly concede to his Russian ally's proposal? LOL

Assad has not agreed to any proposal having those weapons destroyed. ONLY to transfer.

That's like the United States saying we'll transfer our nukes to the UK. Now that's what I call punishment! LOL

We'll never deal with North Korea. There's no geopolitical reason to do so. They are not in a "strategic" part of the world, they have no natural resources, there is no refugee crisis (correct me if I'm wrong). No doubt there are human rights abuses, but we have an wildly inconsistently record of caring about that. In addition, any action against them would cause Russia and/or China to get their panties in a twist. (Russia, especially, since they have a long history of coming to the aid of any two-bit dictator that the US finds noxious.)

As long as they don't attack us, they'll be ignored. That's the way it should be, IMHO.

It's like BO lit a fire under little Vladie and the Syrian nerd with his threat of military action.

Have ya ever seen two guys scrambling around so fast trying to avoid a potential U.S. strike?

LOL

Soooooo comforting to know that we have highly competent adults in charge of our foreign policy now ... and not the three stooges (Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld) of years past...

Do you have proof that the government of North Korea has engaged in purposeful starving of its citizens outside of the confines of the failed economic policies of that nation?

Your strawman falls flat on its face if you can't provide the evidence to back up your assertion.

That is a non sequitur if ever there was one. Give it up, your position is a hopeless reach. And give it up for Obama too. He won one for our side. It has been long time since the US position came out on top in the middle east. Stand up for America for once.

Kinda hard to stand up for America when one has their lips attached to the south end of Putin.

Well, I don't know yet what's been won. It's weird just how "easily" this deal came together, and I don't trust Russia at all.
