NH bill would allow refusal of services to gay couples » Latest News » EagleTribune.com, North Andover, MA
Don't want to provide wedding services to gay couples?
A bill before the Legislature would let people refuse services for religious or conscience reasons.
"We are concerned about clergy having to provide ceremonies against their belief," said Rep. Frank Sapareto, R-Derry, a bill co-sponsor.
..
The bill would put an exemption in state marriage law. The proposed text says no person, including a business owner or employee, should be required to provide services, accommodations, advantages, facilities, goods or privileges for wedding services in "violation of the person's conscience or religious faith."
Great, the bakery can move to NH, and not have to serve homosexuals. Problem solved.

False, I am fine with having laws so I wouldn't be the one going to a lawless country. But if you think having no laws is better, how come you haven't taken a vacation to one of these wonderful and free lawless countries?

Probably because they would of written a number of negative reviews as well as informed people they knew about the bad business.

They are failing because of the bad publicity. Publicity of their actions. The baker was all over the media telling the story himself, how is that the lesbian couples fault?

They should have just not said anything to anyone, and took the discrimination from a business. Right?

Conveniently missing from the news headline-

Bakery owners have received death threats and hate mail since the January incident.

Oh those tolerant liberals.

You won. There are numerous wedding service businesses being sued and complaints have been filed against them.
Several have already been driven out of business.
Be happy. You'll end up with only LGBT friendly wedding services when the dust settles.

Yes, some people can be quite mean over heated emotional issues like this. This is something we see happen on both sides.

I am happy with that, why would anyone want businesses around that deny the public services. People are simply voting with their wallets and supporting businesses that do not discriminate.

The LGBT group better follow what's going on in NH because if that law passes then other states just might follow suit.
