How about in Vegas, or wherever prostitution is legal? If the sex-worker posts on her facebook -- "this old creep came by and wanted a quickie" (I am not old by the way) -- can I complain about age discrimination. I mean, isn't age also a protected class?

There are no qualifiers like "unless they're Catholic" or "unless they really want to" or "unless they feel it's forced labour". Businesses cannot discriminate against their customers based on their sexual orientation.

I'm still amazed, and amused, at the idea right-wingers have that laws they don't like don't apply to them.
I think I understand what the law is -- but do you understand how illogical and beyond the scope of discrimination that law is? We here, have no impact on the case, yet we can discuss laws, can't we not? Laws can be repealed / overturned, no?

I'm not sure about laws governing prostitution. But I'm pretty sure they would be considered independent contractors.

They were not forced to close. They acted in a bigoted manner, customers didn't like it, they lost business because of their actions.

Perhaps that's not the way they feel, but it sure as hell sounds like it. Perhaps they don't even know it, but when one inserts their own value judgments into these types of discussions, I question their objectivity. Moreover, I question their respect for the freedom in general of those they disagree with.
Agreed. Freedom isn't piece meal, it's for all of the people, all of the time.

Saying or believing that the baker should have made the cake is in no way censorship.
