Haha.. of course people don't like Boehner's position here; this is, after all, right-wing lunatic central of the internet.

Uhmm...you do know that the senate and congress along with the signing power of the president make the laws right? And then if the laws are challenged the supreme court can real on the constitutionality of them.....right?

You also know they are following the law when they vote and decide these things....right?

sigh.

I wish this was true, but I assure you, while a tad on the right....this place is not home to the true crazies. Not even close. And that horrifies me.

What is really telling about our political culture is that we think sequestration actually constitutes significant cuts. Sequestration isn't even a spending cut...it's a slowdown. Further, it's more telling of how difficult it will be for us to ever actually engage in significant cuts. We can't even handle a slowdown without significant unrest. It's laughable when looking at the projections of with or without a "deal." The "cuts" made are so inconsequential that it makes the crys of these cuts being significant impacts seem laughable.

He just wants the cash that they have come to expect the past 3 years. The "temporary" stimulus spending is now part of the regular budget, cute trick that was, and plus normal built in spending increases, GOP and Democrats are in hog heaven.

The liberal D's are the ones using the people for their own goals, which is to retain their grip on power.

Immigration and ACA will ensure the democratic voter base because they want free stuff and are too stupid to know they will pay for it eventually.

It reads more realistically now.

The idea is not to grow the government but at a slower rate by using new taxes. The idea is to cut the size of the government. The sequesters calls for a fairly (in relative terms) nice cut in defense spending. This is something that the "left" had wanted for decades. I don't understand, why would they all of a sudden be against this?

I don't know anyone that thinks the ACA is free. What have you been smoking?

At one time blacks and women couldn't vote. Prohibition laws were cancelled. 55 MPH was once the "law of the land" I could go on and on but, you probaly still wouldn't get it.

Your assertion that, " You can't just ignore the law" is pure poppycock and based on nothing.
But wasn't that exactly the liberal position on Obamacare? It's settled law and you shouldn't do anything to try and change it?
