Didn't Kasich roll over and accept the Obamacare federal extension of Medicaid for his state?

Why yes he did

I'm aware of that …… but you and I both know that the Media ignored the Ron Paul Tea Party. The TP only really hit the news after the Town Hall meetings in 2009 and they only got anyone outside of the Paulers interested after the Stimulus Bill passed. The Tea Party (as we know it today) was after Obama was elected and (IMO) had a lot to do with the failure of Obama's promise of "Change".

Forcing down a Trillion Dollar 'Stimulus' bill that NOBODY even read was what kicked the present movement off. The grass roots meetings and Town Halls were not just the old Ron Paul Tea Party, but the Paulers were certainly a part of that.

Social Security AND the Strategic Oil Reserve.
A part of this 'Budget Agreement' that nobody is talking about, it that it removes some nice hefty Slush Funds that Obama and his boys have been using. These career politicians have tons of slush funds that are buried in the "books" - this is how Jack Lew (and Geithner before him) was able to keep the Government going 6 months AFTER the Debt Ceiling was reached - using what they call "extraordinary measures" i.e., stealing from other accounts and using back pocket money.

Paul Ryan is no fool - he knows where the money goes and where the money is. He knows the tricks they play with the money. All of this is waaaay above the heads of the Newby Tea Party folks in Congress …. but John Boehner has been around the block a time or two, he doesn't have the credentials and economic chops that Ryan does, but Boehner understands how the Democrats are putting the screws to the country. Time to fight Fire with Fire and not just with Obama type words ….. which is the Newby TP way. You can't do anything without some sort of control - especially when you dealing with somebody like Harry Reid. Getting Harry Reid out of the Senate Leadership has to be Job One. If it takes a $5 hike in an airline fee that everybody has to pay and NOT just the 'evil rich' - I'm for it.

I'm NOT for cherry picking which Company we want to Demonize for Tax Revenue - reform the Tax Code, but make it 'fair' for everyone and not just the cherry picked companies the Left Hates.

Boehner should be hung for defending the sorry budget deal. NO NEW TAXES!!!! He won't be returning as House Speaker for sure. They need someone more articulate and charismatic than the tanman.

Not only did the GOP controlled Congress balance the budget, they ran three years of surpluses. You truly have no clue whatsoever.

It was also the very last time Congress passed all thirteen appropriation bills (in 1998).
