Default Another Sign ObamaCare Works: Wellpoint Boosts Profit Forecast

Ok so Wellpoint adds one million new customers many thanks to the ACA and as a publicly held company they are boosting their profits at the expense of government. I am wondering if you are a conservative if you are willing to move your health care out of BCBS-Wellpoint into a non-profit or another company due to the increasing government- socialism associated with the ACA? Remember open enrollment starts in November.

No surprise. Elizabeth Fowler, Chief Health Care Policy Counsel to the Senate Finance Committee, is viewed as the chief architect of the ACA legislation.

No surprise. Insurers exited many unprofitable markets and double-downed in profitable markets, large group healthcare plans. That Wellness administers many state Medicaid systems is a windfall.

I really think we are going to see more Kaiser like healthcare systems begin to emerge, whereby large branded hospital systems will offer plans directly to consumers and cut out the middleman, insurance companies.

Open enrollment for 2014 ends 3/31, unless it's extended. ( I would bet $ on it)

Open enrollment for 2015 begins in November.

In part it's the middlemen that keep the hospital costs down.

Truthfully, I'm surprised that Longview cancelled his appearance.

I mean, let's face it...it ain't like a majority of that town doesn't agree with Nugent's comments. In fact, it's probably made him twice as popular.

Sometimes, yes.

Costs include weighted average overhead and salaries of non MD senior management within a defined geographic region

Insurers pay costs +.

Medicare pays costs.

I wonder how Kaiser premiums stacks up to the competition.

He's really not very talented. His music was marginal at best.

Most of it was even laughable IMO.

Everything you need to know about Ted Nugent. Quite literally a disgusting piece of human filth.
