Forget all of the ways that institutions and society would form to implicitly carry out that explicit understanding.
Yes, and the cons on this thread will come back with, "That's ancient history! It's all over! Poof, magic, no racism or white privilege anymore! Rah team!"

Yes, it helps me to understand the other side. They seem to be framing all the arguements and definitions.

Sure, and that might matter if you were trying to get a job at an Indian casino that only hired tribal members.

Exactly.

You just follow their rules and you'll be ok.

The privilege of being born in a country that is majority white is going to benefit white people the most. Got it. Now, the next question is this; Name one other country in this world, that is not a majority white country, where you (black, brown, gay, female) will be treated better?
UAE. You get knocked to second rung on the ladder if you're a white male working in the Emirates.

Ok I think what this really is, is a push back against white culture. A push back against the dominate culture in this country. I'm being swayed to your side...a little bit. It kind of sounds like another way of phrasing "discrimination". Instead of insisting that victim groups are treated badly, you guys talk about how non-victim groups are treated better than they deserve. Logically both approaches amount to exactly the same thing: an assertion that there is an unfair difference between the way various groups are being treated. Is that a fair assessment?
It's not another word for discrimination, or even pushing back against the dominant culture. It's acknowledging that being a person that looks like, and to a lesser extent has the same religion, education, economic background, etc... of those who founded and set at the top of the socio-economic ladder is a huge advantage.

Actually, I make a real effort to teach my kids about slavery and segregation so they will understand it hasn't been that long ago that laws were made based solely on skin color. We've visited the Civil Rights Museum and other important sites. I had them watch 42, Malcolm X, etc.

They can't believe that in their grandparents' lifetimes, black people weren't allowed to use the same water fountains, enter the same doors, etc.

Our family is ready to work hand in hand to continue to make this country a place of opportunity for everyone. Unfortunately, too many people on the other side want to point and scream "white privilege" rather than join us.
Thankfully I believe those are less than the people who want to work together.

Also, how do white males live in southwest Virginia and rural Oregon? Cause the ones I know do good taking care of their families and running their farms.

I agree with you up until your last paragraph. The ones often times screaming white privilege are white people trying to deny it exists in this country. Case in point, a white male created this thread.

You are male. What is your race if you don't mind me asking?
