Lots of talk but no group wants to take that risk of actually running their own business.

Since it is well-known where our economy is headed, why can't we just embrace the cheap housing lifestyle now instead of opposing it?

When they get that, within 10 years $20 per hour will be a poverty level wage.
AND, the cycle will continue, because "they" will never see what is happening!

In that case, your scenario can be averted by starting now to build an adequate supply of affordable housing.

35% unemployment is going to be a lot of people on welfare...

??? Childless adults don't get welfare.

Yes, they do. In case you haven't noticed it. They just repackage the term "welfare". Since Clinton "reformed" welfare, the number of adults going on "permanent disability"...aka welfare's other name for childless adults has more than doubled from 1997-current year.

And "disabled" is a relative terms these days. They push the envelope who's "abled body vs who's not". They even added fibromyalgia to the list as a disability.

It all depends on who's money is being spent. Our close friend always eats at the finest restaurants on business even local business meetings....because their employer pays for it. All of it.

So it's easy to spend money when it's not your money.

That sounds like a good investment for you.

Only if they are disabled in Michigan.

They can get food stamps......if they meet the other requirements.

A few other emergency programs are also available.

Each state is different.

Perfectly example right there. Hard to sell things that are easier on the budget when you are being forced to pay your employees more than they are worth.
