Good workers will always be in demand.

Except that doesn't matter in times of higher unemployment, then it is easier to pay good workers less. Also, this obviously isn't an issue about paying people more, an employer can already so that now. What an employer cannot do is pay someone below minimum wage which is what you are wanting it to be.

They do very well....because they are worth it.

Then the other end.....those who settle....and what they settle for is what they are worth.

Once upon a time, baseball players weren't paid much and the top players - those who ultimately were inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame - weren't paid a whole lot either.

Then Curt Flood was traded, he didn't want to go to Philadelphia but the reserve clause bound him, he didn't like that, he didn't report, and he sued. He ultimately lost, but other players were unhappy about things like things like that, not to mention the low pay, and a snowball grew...and grew...and now players are paid astronomical sums of money.

Did MLB players suddenly become worth a lot more than they were previously?

Heck, even pro sports has a minimum wage today.

No....our guys will both hit $100,000 working April to November this year.

One much more.

I just hate to see a good workers stifled by the minimum wage......I one time I feel like I was hurt by it.

What is mathematical about $15? It sounds subjective.

We currently have millions working for less than $15, and they show up to work everyday. I assume they feel they are getting paid what they are worth or they would leave.

More workers than jobs and lack of skill keeps many at low wage service jobs.

I presume for more money. You found another company who valued your labor capital more than the old company. Or you started a business. Very simple.

But they are demanding skilled wages based on the current market equilibrium. Sounds selfish.
