Serious.....we all need to save our ice cubes and donate it to the Antarctic. Quit being wasteful and throwing them in the trash after you finish your Big Mac.
Our lives are at stake here. Is a few ice cubes a day really too much to ask? If this is all overblown are you really going to miss a little ice? Surely we all can agree to sacrifice here a little.
I've been twitching for a big mac. Haven't had one for a couple years. I know it sucks but damn I loved those things.
I have some ice trays in the garage too. I'll load em up and dump ice on the ground to cool the old girl.
I don't get the vehemence over dealing with factors in the natural world.
Nobody says this is an instant crisis -- the article clearly states it will take between 200 and 900 years for the ice to disintegrate. If it's 900, we've obviously got time for a smoke.
However, if it's closer to 200, we ought to be thinking about how to respond. Remember, Hoover Dam and the Golden Gate Bridge are 80 years old and the interstate highway system is already about 60. Infrastructure is a long term project that takes long term vision.
With a little luck I fully expect my little grandbabies to see the year 2100 and beyond. What's wrong with planning for the future?

I don't know.....how many tornado's will we have in the next 200 years? Shouldn't we be stopping them instead?
Global warming, climate change could not prevent the collapse. This could pose a major threat to coastal cities.
