Perhaps he was misled to think that life should be fair?

I have no idea where you get this idea.

I don't make stuff up. The man entered the political arena. Google is only as efficient as the man (or woman?) googling.

The whiner is here to stay.

And this:

Martinez was not caught by surprise. He's a defense attorney he has appealed to an audience before.

Above excerpts are from this link:

Shooting victim
Then there's this:

Martinez said he is consulting with experts to help develop a clear message and a specific course of action that the public can undertake with the aim of preventing similar tragedies in the future.

What! He's hired a press agent? Never let an opportunity to make a fool of yourself go to waste.

I didn't mention the father who had his son killed but I'm not sure one can complain about people who are callous when it comes to someone that gets a press agent at a time like this.

Here's a course of action: the next time parents call the sheriff about their crazy son they can do more than knock on the door and say hello.

And what about crazies on this website? Should the cops knock on their doors, too?

Is it time, to start sacrificing lives for liberty?

Ok, I'm officially abandoning my "hands-off" approach to the father that made the statements blaming the NRA....

In the heat of the moment when he first said it, that was one thing. Now, I've seen that he has done at the very least three separate interviews, one with CNN, one with Inside Edition, and one with Anderson Cooper, espousing his views in each. He's putting himself out there, making himself a public figure in this debate, and as such is subject to the same scrutiny any other public figure would get.

I was thinking about that earlier today. If people who sound unhinged should be forced into treatment or forced to take meds, that particular thread is a goldmine.
