Gawd forbid we send that message, right?
Agreed. Far too many adults take sex so lightly themselves these days that our kids are getting the message that it's all just fun and games instead of something to be shared between two people who love each other, want a future together and for pro-creation also. It is being viewed as a recreational activity rather than something much deeper than that.

Lol, please tell me why sex is such a serious subject? Provide protection to avoid disease & pregnancy & there ya go. What is the big deal about sex exactly that you feel only those staying together for the rest of their lives should indulge in it?

What do you think?
um really they cant afford a pack?
when they can afford to buy some smoke/alcohol/drugs

MCDONALDS instead of learning to actually cook?

seriously now.
NO.

I am not socially conservative either.

CONDOMS ARE NOT a necessity.
they can just stop doing it then.

or buy it themselves when they want to.
they can afford that cheeseburger and fries right?

then they can afford a condom.
or do we need to give these losers free cheeseburger and fries money when

12-15 dollars an hour people MAKE LESS THAN

no job buffoons that sit on their butts all day.
and collect welfare checks all day long.
you need 30-35k to breakeven and 40k min to have welfare not surpass your wage.

NO.

Ummmm.......committing a crime to obtain sex is nothing new, been happening as far back as the days of the cave man.

Crimes almost exclusively committed by males, I might add.

What's the first thing men do when they conquer an enemy? Rape their women. What better way to express power and control?

In fact, all of this sex sells business started to primarily target males.

Want to get a male's attention? Put an attractive female in the ad....to sell everything from beer to cars.

And, up until fairly recently, the people who decided to use sex to sell were exclusively men.

If we want to change society's obsession with sex, we first need to concentrate on changing the thought process/culture/nature of the male of the species.

Here's a novel idea.

Parents who choose to teach abstinence only should walk the talk and provide for their unplanned grandchildren on their own dime instead of dumping the responsibility on the taxpayer.

Ya know, suffer the consequences of their actions, take responsibility.

Isn't that the mantra?

Ever hear of puppy love?

The victims invariably believe they are experiencing something special and are going to spend their lives together.

Exactly! LOL

People who fail to find a life long mate or choose not to marry should be celibate for life!

Yeah, that'll work!

No, that's not the point. The point is not to use sex as some kind of casual recreational activity. Nothing wrong with an "adult" feeling like they are in love have protected sex and then decide that isn't the person they want to spend their entire lives with afterall. Kids are a totally different story.
