The one unpardonable sin in the bible is the rejection of the Holy Spirit.

No, according to the bible and christianity is all you've got to do is believe that jesus was Gods son.

Thats it. The "Holy Spirit" is a Catholic creation.

Cook says he's been open with others about being gay, but felt compelled to publicly come out to help others. "I don't consider myself an activist, but I realize how much I've benefited from the sacrifice of others," writes Cook. "So if hearing that the CEO of Apple is gay can help someone struggling to come to terms with who he or she is, or bring comfort to anyone who feels alone, or inspire people to insist on their equality, then it's worth the trade-off with my own privacy."

Apple CEO Tim Cook: 'I'm proud to be gay'

The tide of public opinion and laws in this country has already turned in favor of gay marriage. Maybe Cook's coming-out can help turn the tide more decisively against workplace discrimination, too. As Cook noted, it's bad for business.

Your thoughts?
His bank account is the greatest gift imo. Thx Apple.

I feel threatened by neither both Fox News nor MSM. But I do feel threatened by the sheeple who follow either or both to a point of being able to be manipulated. There is a growing percentage of our population who is more than happy to be told what to think.

If you go back to my original comment, it applies to both sides (so I acknowledge and accept your point). My point is basically that controversy makes a lot more noise than agreement. So I picked Fox News in this case, but if you prefer, I can say how people on the left are more than willing to go on the bandwagon for a woman's right to choose, and to advocate for someone to NOT get denied coverage or services (which I mostly agree with), but they fail to see how that would put a pro-life doctor in a predicament, if he was forced to perform an abortion against his practice.

I didn't do the best job coming up with an example, but I do acknowledge your point. Mine is basically what I said. Whoever I quoted saw the gay thing as being shoved down their throat, assumedly because it is somehow threatening to them, but did not have the same reaction to the religion. A lot of people agree with that point, based on the number of reps I got for it...

To me, neither is a story. I don't care if you are gay or strait; Christian, Muslim, Jewish or Atheist. Live your life right, be a good member of society, and allow it to have minimal impact on others, and it remains a non-issue for me.

There is a lot more heterosexual dirty laundry put out there in Movies, TV Shows, Politics, and life. Do you post about that too, or does the standard only apply to people who don't have the same values as you?

Your thoughts?
Due to lack of evidence I came to the conclusion a long time ago that there is no god.

He should just shut up and live his life. His sexual orientation is a non issue.

The Bible is supernatural and God uses it to speak to us in various ways. You know, there are some of us who still believe in the Bible so there is nothing factual about your statement.

A document written by men to control the masses. How many times has it been edited, modified or twisted?
