This is true. But it also says we as Christians do not accept a fallen life style. Yes of course we treat people with grace. There is No judging this man we just do not approve of his life style.
To link to the teaching of Jesus is a reach.
You missing the point , Bible was written thru God by men. Meaning the Holy Spirit was working in these men.
Would you approve of a Ordained Pastor Marrying 2 Men? Changing the Bible to fit World perceptions is a dangerous thing, if you are a Believer.
Of course all of us will be Judged of our sins.
No, the bible had nothing to do with god. It was written by men and handed down and translated for hundreds of years. The whole meaning got lost got lost in the translation. And there was no holy spirit. Let god judge others. We are not the ones to judge.
I have never heard anyone for gay rights say it is no one's business what their sexuality is unless it is in the context of drumroll please................ THEIR JOBS.
Your sexuality is none of your bosses business and the reason that is a central issue is because in the "At-will" states, you can be fired for any reason, gay being one of them.
now for the bigger argument. What Cook is saying is that people shouldnt have to hide whether or not they are gay.
They should be able to post a picture of them and their spouse on their facebook page or be able to use actual pronouns when describing them instead of neutral words.
Nobody's sexuality is anyone else's business and most of us don't really care to hear about other people's sexuality unless we are coupling up with them. TMI man.
Everyone is pretty disinterested in these stories.

I understand that and you have a right to your opinion, but in the context to which i was responding, what he claimed does not happen.

1. The Bible is a group of works written over a 400 year period put together by a bunch of Romans, not God. You can believe God worked through those men, but He didnt put the bible together There are hundreds maybe even thousands of Gospel not in the bible because the people who put together the bible didnt want to include them.
2. Every instance of shaming homosexuality in the bible has to do more circumstances than just them being gay
" Dont rape a man if he gives you shelter in his home" and crap like that.
3. The Bible also says to follow mans law. Constitution > Bible.
Steve Jobs had reasons to keep Tim Cooks sexual preferences away from the press. The reasons are still valid even after Jobs passing. Watch what will happen to the APPLE brand.
Get over it. Thinking people, including the Episcopalian Church, disagree with you. Episcopalians, as I recall, also allow female clergy. I guess that makes them double the devil, in your eyes.
Let me guess. You are a fundamentalist of one kind or another. Do you even know any gay people? Ever worked with gays? I'm pretty sure you have rubbed elbows with gays. You just didnt know it.
God does not hate. People hate. God'd message is love.
Plenty of Christians, with love in their hearts, embrace gays in their congregations. Sorry there is no love in your heart.
God made man in his own image; man quickly returned the favor.
Religious belief that is subject to change based on the unsettled opinions of man is a house built on sand.
Being gay is a deviate behavior that is not natural. This man is following his own lust spirit that leads him into being attracted sexually toward men. This is an abomination to his maker. If he follows and believes this spirit and acts on it he is committing a deviate behavior.. This is no gift of God.. Is the spirit of adultery that leads someone into cheating a gift of God?
well, whoops! Context is everything. It's talking about judging hypocritically. Homosexuality is immoral. We can judge between good and evil. That's not a sin. We are not supposed to turn a blind eye to immorality.
