To me this is the racism that goes on everyday, she thinks because I am white, I am incompetent to be able to look for things myself.
I have more great examples.
Maybe she thought you were the only one in the crowd, or one of the few, that could afford to buy something expensive from Macy's. Her only agenda was to hopefully fatten her commission check .. is there an 'ism' for that? Commission checkism?
I think Michelle Obama would not sit on a cushion if she thought it would wrinkle her pampered bee hind !!!! I am also ready for all of them to go , cannot come soon enough for me .
What? Are you saying the Letterman clip is fake? Seriously?
One of us isn't getting it.
I am saying Michelle told a story on Letterman, with the indication that she thought the story was cute/funny. Then she told the exact same story to the People magazine reporter, and she now indicates the lady in the story was racist (or that the lady "acted in a racist way", yada yada).
So, are you saying the Letterman clip is a fake?
I don't understand how this is even a story. It's not even worth bringing up.
This is all very disturbing to me and I'm puzzled at the turn that incident at Target has now taken. I do not understand why she is doing this.
Please don't cheapen yourself by saying " Obummer". He is the President, and deserves the respect of the office. I did not like it when people called GWB " the shrub. " either. Disrespect says a lot more about the person dishing it out than it does the subject of said disrespect .
I also found that very disturbing. But sadly it's all over this board. I do not have much respect for anyone who uses that term.
If this is the best she can do then I think there is a strong possibilty that maybe she didn't.
This is very disappointing to me.
Maybe she shouldn't have brought it up then.
Obama's story of being mistaken for a valet is VALID. Just because you see a minority male standing in front of a place wearing a dress shirt and tie doesn't mean he's a servant.
Just because a black person is rich or famous doesn't mean they don't face racism its just not going to be the type that the average Joe is encountering. Like Obama will never have to worry about being gunned down in the streets like a michael brown or choked out like a eric Gardner. Their status will protect them from certain things
Except Brown died because of his own actions.
Gardner died because of ridiculous laws and these laws have to be endorced. He was also extremely overweight and in poor health
Neither case had anything to do with race. Zip, zero, nada.
So poor examples but thanks for playing
