Fine with me, can we apply the same rule to black urban high crime areas?

We should be able to do the same in any area with high crime. However, the United States has laws of men, made by men, for men. We have systems of checks and balances. We have a judicial system, which still states that you are innocent until proven guilty. Criminals should face a jury of his peers and let them decide the course of action. This is what we do as Americans. We can not have police forces who have military equipment (like the NYPD) who claims to have drones and are armed up the wazoot while the "people are not" simply because you don't like crime.

We deal with it through our judicial system. Not like Saddam Hussein who executed his people as a matter of course. If you even believe this should be part of the fabric of America, I must say I would not believe you to be American. We don't live in a dictatorship.

If you want me to substantively respond to one of your posts, it can't be pure nonsense like what you just wrote. Try again.

I didn't know high crime areas were hired to serve and protect.

So your argument is that the citizenry doesn't have an obligation to fight crime, just police. Typical leftist.

No, people shouldn't become vigilantes.

So what exactly do you propose if you don't want cops. Do you want everyone armed and fending for themselves.

I've read his post several times natalie and nowhere in it do I read that he doesn't want cops. If I were a cop anywhere in a large city today though, I would resign.

But they don't do they. Their pay is horrible and they get no respect yet they still go on. Why do you think that is.
