Memories Pizza is on the record saying it wouldn't cater gay weddings, and that stance has gone viral online.
“I don’t have a problem with gay people, I do not condone gay marriage and that’s what I said,” co-owner Kevin O’Connor explained to The Daily Beast. “I don’t turn anybody away from the store, I don’t have a problem with gay people. I just don’t condone the marriage.”
It very well could be but the question is, is the government capable or should they even be the morality police?

From what I've read in these threads, this is exactly the basic disagreement - some people see these laws as a question of the free expression of a personal religious belief while some people see these laws as a question of whether one citizen's money is as good as any other citizen's.
I come down on the side of any citizen's money is as good as any other citizen's. Because we have no evidence that the government is trying to shut down churches or newspapers or TV/radio stations or internet web sites or arrest people who are opposed to gay marriage in particular or gay rights in general.

In the case of the pizza shop, the Christian owner was the one who needed protection from the homo-fascist bullies, who conspired together to harass her, ruin her business and threaten her life. She has had to shut down her business as a result.
So clearly, you are projecting the agenda of the homosexual bullies and the left onto Christians and the right. But regardless of how you try to spin it, the thugs here are the homo-fascists who attacked this woman, threatened her life and worked together to ruin her business.

I'm sorry, I don't understand why she was entitled to protection. She decided what her position was on catering a gay wedding and freely articulated it. Some people didn't like what she had to say and decided to express their opinions. Still others rallied around the owner and gave her support in the form of money. Everyone has gotten their say. No ones voices were oppressed. You just don't like it because the whole thing didn't have your preferred outcome where the "homo-fascist bullies" took a beat down for daring to speak up.
